Good Wednesday morning. Can you believe that it is the 12th of April already? We have been having some warm weather here the last couple of days. It has been in the low 80s. Today it is suppose to be about 74 I believe.

Nothing much happening here. I am going out to lunch with my sister and a friend of hers today. I haven't been doing much of anything since I got back from Florida last week. Just haven't felt like it. Yesterday we went to COSTCOs and got our lamb chops for Easter dinner. This should be interesting since my sister has never eaten lamb. We are going to make a couple of chicken beast also since if she doesn't like the lamb I know she will eat the chicken.

I have been stitching. I started another Christmas ornament the other day and I plug along on The Map of Scotland most nights. I haven't stitched much on The Button Tree. It has been to warm to hold a sweatshirt in my lap.

Have a great day and be sure to post what is going on in your life.

Nothing much to talk about here. Just a lot of aches and pains for both Otey and I. Just old people talk that no one wants to hear. ;)

I have been stitching. The most last night. Nothing on TV I wanted to watch and NCIS was a rerun. So I watched some taped movies and stitched on my RST. Which I am so enjoying. I think I love LHN charts because you don't have to keep looking at the chart for EVERY single stitch. You can kind of look at the chart and see where it changes and when you should look at it again.

Yesterday was cloudy and rainy and warm. Today it will be beautiful, sunny and a bit cooler. Allergies are bothering us so I know allergy season is beginning. The leaves coming out on the trees are the most beautiful color of green. I love spring greens.

Hope you all have a blessed and happy week and a blessed Easter Sunday. :)

Hi ladies! Can't believe it is the 12th of April already! Tax day is coming up & I still have to do them with TurboTax. It is a bit more complicated this year so I hope I don't have any problems.

Been doing a lot of organizing around the house & putting all the mess where it belongs! lol The weather is beautiful today. We've been in the 60s & 70s which is so nice! Planted 2 Rose bushes in pots outside because they were little tiny things when I got them & I was afraid the gardeners would destroy them. lol They are called Downton Abby roses & they are a beautiful shade of peachy pink. I sure hope they grow well so I can replant them.

Have a surprise tall chocolate Easter bunny for David. It's mostly ears which he said he use to eat first when he was a kid so I thought he'd like this one. It's pretty tall. Chocolate heaven!

Starting to get back into quilting. When I lived in Texas, I had a business where I did craft shows & also had a booth in a craft mall. I made dolls out of all kinds of materials & quilted pillows & things. It's been many years since I lived there; I guess since 1989 so I will have to relearn many procedures in the quilt making process. I am also trying to get back into cross stitch. I just love too many different crafts & don't have enough years left to complete all the projects I want. I guess I should get busy & motivated.

Well, that's all the news from California. Not much happening here. I hope you all enjoy the spring weather & have a wonderful Easter.

Kathy

Today was an interesting day. I got a phone call from my heart specialist and the secretary said to come in today as my doctor had put in an urgent request as I was having chest pains and shortness of breathe. I have to have a blood test (did that today), ultra-sound for my heart (2 weeks time) and a stress test (next week Tuesday). So ladies if you can say a prayer for me I would appreciate it.

Marl

I hope all goes well for you Marl.
Yesterday we were at an out of town funeral for DH"s aunt . She was 95 and lead a long and happy life.
It was nice to meet up with relatives again - too bad it is often for a sad reason the we get together.
The driving was manly good which was great as we were driving for over 6 hours in total.

Today I need to start to get ready for family on Saturday . The chocolate bunnies are waiting LOL
