Well I am back from my trip to Disney World. It was hot, hot, hot. In the high 89s to mid 90s the whole time we were there. I got a great big blister on the big toe of my right foot and could hardly walk. I did rent an electric scooter for 3 of the days we were there but that was really nerve racking in he crowds of Disney. But other than that it was a fun trip for the most part. I got home late Monday afternoon and spend most of yesterday doing laundry and resting. Now back to real life.

Last night I finished another Christmas ornament for this year. Only 3 more to go.

Glad it was a good trip, Iris. Hope the blister heals fast! Wow on Christmas ornaments. How many have you finished so far? :)

Yesterday was the 1 year check up of my sleep apnea and the machine and all the data it holds. Everything was fine and she said my sleep apnea is improving. Which was good.

I've only stitched a little on my RST. Still not in the stitching mood. I think it has more to do with habit and comfort than it does with stitching.

I was thinking the other day. (no, I didn't hurt myself.) When I was working all I wanted to do was stitch. Now that I can stitch anytime I want to - I don't. I think it's human nature to want what we can't have :-p

Happy Wednesday! :D

Cathryn, I have 7 completely stitched, one is stitched but needs beads and I don't have a beading needle. I need to stitch3 more. One of theses days I need to have a marathon finishing day.

Welcome home, Iris. I'm glad you had a nice time ..... except for the blister. When I went a couple of years ago, I rented a scooter, and yes, it's a trick maneuvering through the crowds. What Disney park did you go to?

I haven't been up to much so not much to tell. Yesterday I stitched a small Maple Leaf that I'm going to make into a fob. I used an overdyed thread so I have to find a red that won't clash that I can use for joining back to front.

That's about all the excitement for me. :o

Patricia, we went to Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios. In MK I ran into a guy who walked in front of me and stopped dead in front of me. I just couldn't stop the scooter fast enough not to hit him and then the guy behind me, who was walking, fell into me. It was quite an experience.

Nothing interesting, just my asthma bothering me and am finding it difficult to breathe. I did go with my brother to the store and he bought me a shirt. My depression is also back which I guess I do not want to stitch, I sit in front of the TV and just change channels for something to do.

Glad you enjoyed your trip, Iris. The heat - yeah - it's been a doozy.
I went to Legoland a couple of weeks ago after my fall and used a motorized cart. Not as crowded as Disney but still difficult. I was also pulling a wagon
Not much new here - getting ready for a quick trip to see my other grandson for his birthday.
We're having some major thunderstorms here right now - and we so need the rain.
Keep well everyone.
