What have you lost in a move that you still remember and are sad it's gone?
**************************************** After being newly married at 20 (long ago and far away) and not knowing the ways of the world - a packer from the moving company came early and stole a huge box of items from us. Many were wedding gifts. One in particular was a handmade quilt from my husbands relatives in South Carolina at a quilting bee. It makes me sick every time I think of it.

I have not lost anything in one of my moves ( not that I have actually moved much!0. I do however regret the loss of many things that my mother had. Her last major move was handles by my sister who does not have the same sentimental feeling about things . She tossed things that I would have kept without asking . What I miss are the handmade quilts that mom had , made by my grandmother.I managed to save only 1.

A picture of my 3 sisters. I don't know if it was lost in a move or just inadvertently got thrown away. But every time we get together my oldest sisters says something about that picture. It was at one time 3 separate pictures that my Dad had put together somehow so it looked like the 3 of them were in one picture. My one sister died when she was 4 so this picture was very special to my parents and my sister is heartbroken it is gone.
