Storms, lighting and thunder. What a way to wake up. Do you like storms?

No I am deathly afraid of thunder and lightening. I saw my Dad hit by lightening twice when I was a little girl. Both were mild strikes but I can still see him flying across the room the first time.

"across the room?" Are you telling me he was indoors? If so that IS scary!

I'm not really scared of then though I won't go outside during one. I will sit on the porch though and watch the light show.
Iris - wow about your dad - that truly is terrifying.
Blessings, Donna

Yes he was in a barn. We lived on a farm when I was little. He was sitting on a metal stool inside the barn both times. The lightening actually hit the stool not him but it did thrownhim across the room,.
