I have 2. One is The Diary of Ann Frank and the other is Exodus by Leon Uris. I read both of these books for the first time in high school. They both impressed me with the strength of humans and what we can endure and survive. I have read both of these books many times over the years and they continue to inspire me.

I have to agree with Iris on The Diary of Anne Frank. It sparked a live long interest on the Holocaust. I have since read many books about this period of history.

I will say the Bible has been most influential in my life as it has brought me comfort, encouraged me and I learn more about the Lord.

I agree with Marl - that would be my number one book.
