No shopping for me today unless I order the few things I have in my 123Stitch cart.

No shopping for me. I'm waiting for a fabric order to arrive from Silkweavers that I ordered 6 or 7 weeks ago.

I have been window shopping online, but haven't ordered anything. The April 18th tax deadline is over, yea, so I have slowed down this week and catching up on my hobbies. Enjoyed an evening of stitching with my monthly stitching group on Tuesday evening. Then I needed birthday cards for my daughter's friend's daughter tomorrow.
When Jeff (my daughter's friend) found out I created handmade cards, he asked if I would make his for his daughter. She is turning 20 on Sunday and is a real sweet girl.
Of course, I said yes and then I made mine, my daughter's and my granddaughter's cards for her. Then Today I made 4 Thank you cards for work. We had clients that brought us lunch several days during the real busy time of tax time. My boss knows I make handmade cards and seems to like them.
Here are the birthday cards and thank you cards I created. Now I can get back to stitching.

Very nice, Joyce. Doesn't it make you feel good when you know someone really likes and appreciates home made cards.

Joyce your cards are very nice and glad that you were able to make them for your boss and DD's friend.

Yes, it makes me feel so good when others like what I have created, cross stitching and creating cards. It is so fun to share our hobbies with others.
