I would probably go for the simple reason I've never been before. I may not understand or enjoy it, but at least I would have had the experience.

Like Patricia, I would go. A night at the Opera would be a new experience. If it is anything like they show on TV, I'd feel like a princess.

Like Patricia, I would go and see if I would get some idea what the story is about. I like light classical music so that would help explain some of the music.
