:) just thought I'd drop in and introduce myself, after being prompted 3 times by email

my name is Marian, and I have received Carolyn's newsletter for some time, although I have only ever stitched one chart.

I enjoy most crafts and have been playing with needles in some form or other since I was six. I also love cooking and have set myself a NY's resolution/challenge to bake 1 cake per week - starting with old favourites to get back into the swing, then progressing to more complex recipes and/or ideas.

I live in New Zealand, and have done so since December 18 1973 but I was born in Guildford, Surrey, England.

Kindest regards,

Marian

Welcome to the group Marian. Nice of you to join our happy group and I know you will love it here. Cathryn does some very nice designs for us each month.

I am Marl and live in Ontario, Canada. I do crocheting, plastic canvas, flower arrangements, and any other thing that has to do with crafting. I used to cook and bake a lot then my doctor said I have cholesterol so stopped baking and just eat simple foods now.

Marl

Hi Marian. Welcome. I also live in Ontario Canada, very near both Marl and Leslie. I'm so happy to see you join us.

I'll join Leslie and help by being a taste tester. Chocolate is my favourite!

:D just thought I'd drop back to let you know I'm still here. I don't 'play' on forums much, and this year I will not have much time as I am re-training/up-skilling so I can get a better job.

My resolution to bake a cake a week has not had a great start, as I have been unwell and not able to bake at all, but I'm hoping I can catch up this week. 8-)

and the NZ summer  more like autumn/winter than summer  with it's freezing cold rain days

I have just published my first post on blogger, can someone check they can see it please? thaks https://bellfieldsway.blogspot.co.nz/p/ ... arted.html
