No shopping here. Too busy and too many bills. We had to retire our Jeep a while back (3 or 4 months ago) because it was costing more to fix each month. Also had to retire son's truck for almost the same reason. We sold the Jeep outright as it did still run well and was inspected, just needed new suspension bushings (we were starting to have to replace these every 4-6 months at about $300 to $500 hundred dollars a time because of us using it for the paper route all the time). We traded the truck in on a Mazda5 minivan about 3 weeks ago. Didn't really need another payment but needed 2 reliable vehicles and truck wasn't cutting it anymore (no wonder as it was a 1998, nearly 20 years old and pretty beat up). Some days son has appointments at the same time we are on the paper route and we worried he would break down when we couldn't help him and he couldn't reach us (spotty cell phone coverage on our route area). So we have tightened our belts so to speak and watch our spending closely.
